Movin' on up...

I know I haven't been posting much here lately, but I really have a good excuse! We're getting ready to move! This is a big one too... across 8 states! With a packed Uhaul, 2 vehicles, a couple of really cute, but restless children, and a very sad Mommy (me... I'm leaving behind my parents and won't be able to see them every week now. Sniff!).

So... I will be here (sort of) for the next 2-3 weeks and then once I am all unpacked and settled into my new space - watch out! I have a ton of in-the-works kits and goodies. Just no time right now to finish them up.

Stay cool!

Totally NSBR...

There was a plane crash this past weekend in Oregon during an airshow. The plane landed in a residential neighborhood. It landed RIGHT next to my old house!!! I am freaking out. How strange! I haven't lived there for 15 years, but it's bizarre. The pilot was killed, but nobody on the ground was. My old house is shown here. I circled it...

If you want to read more about it, click here:

I'm so glad we moved! Could you imagine having a plane crash right next door???? Yikes!

Movies and Mayhem

We went to see Cars today, which didn't go as well as our first movie (Ice Age - The Meltdown). Trying to keep a toddler still for almost 2 hours was really, really fun. Whoo! So... if anybody saw the movie, can you tell me what I missed? LOL!

I noticed that I'm getting some more blog traffic lately, which is great except I really don't have a whole lot to blog about. So... I'll just hand over some more freebies. ;o) I love freebies - giving and receiving. Let me know if you use them in a layout... I love to see my stuff in action!

This is part of my upcoming glitter collection, which I'll be putting up shortly at Liddy's Loft . This one is for family titles and I love how funky it is. The color is sorta silvery with a slight gold light on it. Really neutral so it will go with any LO. It's only going to be free this weekend and I'm not telling anyone or posting about it. So... if you happened to stumble upon it, it's your lucky day! Please, don't share the link or I'll make you babysit my little unruly rugrats. ;o)

Here's the preview:

Notice that I included the grandfolks in there. I can never find any art for my grandparents' pages.

Sorry... gone. Look at Liddy's soon!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Monday, Monday, Monday

Hello blog readers! I have no idea where the last few days went. I must have been abducted again ;o). It was Wednesday one minute and Monday the next... strange. Anyhoo, I made a little kit for a recipe challenge at Liddy's Loft. There are 7 papers, 2 ribbons, 2 bows, a journal strip, a recipe card, a wooden sppon, a cookie element and an entire cookie alpha and number set. Fun! Too bad I can't actually *eat* the cookies - still dieting. I lost 6 pounds in 22 days. Not bad, but it seems like I used to be able to lose weight a lot faster than this. Oh, to be 19 again!

If you'd like this kit, click the link to download.
Cookie kit link!

Special thanks to Jared Pease for the Chips A'Hoy action I used to make the alpha and cookie element (changed slightly by me).

Try the recipe too... they really are good! Just don't email me and tell me how good they are. LOL!

Have a lovely day!

Some pics from yesterday...

Made with All American kit by me, Susan Long.

I had so much fun on my birthday yesterday. We went shopping (who wouldn't love *that*?) and then to dinner at Outback (even stuck to my diet somehow) and then fireworks on the waterfront! Loved every minute! I have such a great family and am so, so lucky.

Please excuse my big, wide open mouth in that last pic. LOL! I took so many pictures of the fireworks and 2 came out. 2! I need a photography lesson. Or... I suppose I could break out the camera manual and learn how to use it properly. ;op

Have a joyous day!

4th of July Sale!!!

I have some new things coming up, one of which should be in the boutique at Liddy's for the B*I*G sale tomorrow. That's right folks.... 40% off! I won't consider it a birthday sale (not 40, LOL)... just a holiday sale. It's only on tomorrow, so don't forget!

Here's a preview of my new 4th kit.

All American
$5.50

This heavily textured kit comes with a lot of unique elements and papers. Perfect for 4th of July, Military, and masculine pages! There are 12 papers, 1 large tag with laced eyelet accents, 2 smaller date tags with rope and metal accents, a piece of duct tape, 2 word art pieces, 2 flowers with metal brads, 1 transparent ribbon, 2 metal threaded buttons, a laced eyelet, 2 clothing tags (one blank for you to customize) and a fun dangling stars banner!

So... tomorrow only, this kit will be 40% off of $5.50, which is.... oh boy, sooooo bad at math. Anyone? It's a really good deal. LOL!

I have more kits to put up, but my hard drive decided to start making some hideous noises and I need to transfer all my designs before I lose everything. Needless to say, it will take longer than 1 day to do it. So... look at Liddy's next week for more new goodies!

Have a fabulous 4th America! I'll be off celebrating my Bday. See ya Wednesday!
