Bummer...

I'm not going to be a designer at SA. I should have known from this thread here that I put up at DST to advertise my apprentice kit. 8 people posted to *my* thread that they bought kits other than mine. Is it me, or is that extremely rude? Maybe I'm being too sensitive. I know that I'd never do that though. I'm fine that they bought their kits, but why not post about it on their thread?

I am thrilled at the sales of my Apprentice kit and would like to thank everyone who purchased it and voted for me. I'll be finishing up a few loose ends in the next week or so and getting my own site live. When it's done, I'll post the link here!

Thanks again for all your support and encouraging emails. You have no idea what that means to me!

Susan

Hi So sorry. I had my fingers crossed and of course purchased your kit. Also, I don't think you're being sensitive. I was shocked at the replies to your post and had the EXACT same thoughts before I even read yours! I was dissapointed in many people.

I'm excited about you having your own site! Definitely sounds fun, challenging, and like something to sink your teeth into! I hope getting it started goes smoothly for you. :) -Kathy

Well, I for one was shocked that you weren't picked. I picked the "5" kits that I liked/loved the most and you were one of them.
Can't wait to see what you have "in store" :) for us at your very own site.
I love your style so just keep on scrapping for us.

Susan,

If it's any consolation, I could only buy one kit and it was yours. I fell in love with the Christmas elements from that part of the challenge and was soooo disappointed they weren't for download. I knew the moment I saw your kit that was the one I was buying.

I bought your kit and love it!
And I'm surprised that it is not among the "winners".
But you're definitely one of nine great designers and I'm sure you'll find another great place to sell your kits!

I was absolutely shocked when I didn't see your name on the list of winners!

Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

what was up with that thread those people were just being completly unkind! what is wrong with them? Love your designs and your blog was bookmarked as soon as i saw your kit so it didn't matter to me if your kits were for sale over there or somewhere else! Have some hot chocolate and reward yourself for being a GREAT DESIGNER!!!!

So sorry, Susan. I really thought you deserved to be among the winners. I bought your beautiful kit, and I think it was very rude and hurtful for those posters who plugged other kits in your thread. Great that you have decided to open your own site and I look forward to visiting. Good luck you are a very talented designer and deserve much success. :)

Hey, I jumped on your SA kit as soon as I saw it, but didn't see the DST thread. I've been busy lately.
Love your work!

The posts were all completely uncalled for. I hate to say that I don't think that it was a fair way of judging. I loved your kit, but there were others that I wanted as well, and by the look of the comments at DST, customers bought more than one kit. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy anything that week ( lots of car repairs)! Congrats on having your own site! So proud to see you getting out there! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us! We really miss you over at the Loft!!
