Moving... again
Ah... dontcha just love moving? We *just* moved to New England in August and are renting until Spring when we buy a home. We had our sister-in-law scout this place out for us and we moved in sight-unseen. It's a HUGE old house that was converted to 3 apartments and we have the 2nd and 3rd floor. Well... apparently one grumpy lady who lives right underneath us can't stand the pitter-patter of little feet. Literally. My 2 rambunctious, pre-schooler children have gotten us kicked out. LOL! I'm laughing so I don't start bawling. I really wasn't prepared to make another move so soon. Seriously though... who complains about children playing DURING THE DAY??? We are not party animals over here and are in bed at 9PM sharp.
So... if I am MIA for a little bit - that's why.

Oh Good Heavens!! Does she own the place?! That's nuts! Man, you have my sympathies. I couldn't fathom your last move and now you have to do it again. And right now! Hang in there. Atleast it isn't snowing and icy yet... right? :) - K
Thanks Kathy! Nope... no snow and ice yet and I'm hoping it stays that way for another week or 2. The lady underneath us doesn't own it, but has been constantly complaining so our landlord has her hands tied. She said we could stay if we agree that there is absolutely *no* playing inside the building. Uhm... okay. I don't think it's legal to duct tape the kids to the wall. LOL! We found a great place to move into though, so that's the good part. I just need to grow 6 new arms and hands. ;o)
Susan,
I read about this at our playgroup. Oy, I can't imagine! I wish I lived close ...I could be 2 extra arms for ya. :) I hope you love your new place and have an uneventful and quick move!!!
You poor thing, I really feel for you, moving is the pits.
Susan - good grief. No playing inside the building? Yeah, right - and with winter coming right around the corner ... what??? Glad that you found another place to move into ... whew! Luck on the move ... hang in there.
What a crummy thing to do to a family during the holidays. :( Hope something and someplace much better is in store for you.
Wow! Some people just don't have a nice streak in their bodies I guess. It has (thankfully) been ages since children were supposed to be seen and not heard... apparently your previous neighbor didn't get caught up on the times. You should have told her to move into the upstairs so she wouldn't have to listen to them running on her ceiling...lol... just kidding. I think you're probably better off without her but honestly, I am right there with you and not being able to stand packing and moving... especially right on the heals of a recent move AND having children to boot! I totally feel for you. Hugs!
well see, there's the problem right there. Why are the kids up and playing in broad daylight? You should have them sleep all day and play REAL REAL REAL LOUD all night long, just like your favorite brother ;)
Do you need to borrow some of my toys to make your last days there a living nightmare for the witch?
See ya at Christmas...
Dan onymous
Oh Dan, Dan, Dan... we all know that your "toys" are probably illegal in most of the 50 states. LOL! I miss you and am looking forward to seeing you in NY!
Glad you found a place, poor old dear, she won't have any thing to complain about probably not very happy either.
Thanks for the gread reindeers
